Adamant - Lisa Bevere book review

The word “adamant” was first used by ancient Greek philosophers to describe a nonexistent stone or metal that is indestructible. Mankind searched for this stone for many years and thought they had found it with the discovery of the diamond. The words diamond and adamant were even used interchangeably until it was discovered that diamonds can melt when exposed to enough heat. Since then the word adamant has been used metaphorically to mean unshakable, immovable, or uncompromising. Lisa Bevere claims to have found this Adamant: Jesus the Cornerstone.

In Adamant, New York Times Bestselling Author Lisa Bevere builds upon this concept of Adamant in eleven chapters describing characteristics God has and characteristics we need to have like. The Adamant, Adamantly Intimate, Adamantly Constant, Adamant in Love, and Adamant in Word are just a few of them. I highly recommend this book.
