Hearing God - Nathan Finochio book review

In Hearing God, author, worship leader, and teaching pastor at Hillsong NYC, Nathan Finochio addresses some common misconceptions concerning hearing God’s voice. He addresses these in ten chapters, each based on a common “myth” about hearing God speak. Some of these myths are: “The Myth of the Lone Ranger Christian”, “The Myth of “Don’t Worry! Nothing Wierd Will Happen!””, “The Myth of Greener Grasses”, and “The Myth of Solid Water”. In these chapters, he talks about finding the voice of God everywhere and in everything.  Whether it’s the obvious things like the Bible or prophetic words, or the not-so-obvious things like nature, a coworker, or circumstances, one thing is for certain: God is always speaking.

I received a review copy of this book from Waterbrook & Multnomah.
