Fire! - James Levesque book review

Image
Before reading Fire! I had never heard of James Levesque, but after reading the list of endorsements by men like Bill Johnson, Carlos Annacondia, John Arnott, David Hogan, Michael Brown, Rick Joyner, and Rodney Howard-Browne, I thought it would definitely be worth reading.  Throughout twelve chapters like “Learning to Receive”, “Living in Pursuit of His Presence”, “Living Surrendered”, and  “Believing Outpouring Can Continue”, Levesque encourages readers to abandon status-quo Christianity and pursue revival. I highly recommend this book.  I received a complimentary copy of this book from Chosen Books in exchange for an honest review.  James Levesque  serves as an international speaker, church planter and young emerging apostolic voice in New England and across America. He longs to see awakening and revival overtake every culture. James and his wife, Debbie, have three children and pastor Engaging Heaven Church in New London, Connecticut.

In The Oracle, Pastor and New York Times bestselling author, Jonathan Cahn shares a prophetic message concerning Israel, the end-times, The Jubilee, and how all these things are linked together.   Like The Harbinger and The Book of Mysteries, two of Cahn’s other books, The Oracle is written as a narrative. In this case, over the course of 63 short chapters, the main character meets a mysterious man known as “The Oracle” who proceeds to reveal a series of revelations known as “The Jubilean Mysteries”. Hearing God - Nathan Finochio book review

Image
In Hearing God, author, worship leader, and teaching pastor at Hillsong NYC, Nathan Finochio addresses some common misconceptions concerning hearing God’s voice. He addresses these in ten chapters, each based on a common “myth” about hearing God speak. Some of these myths are: “The Myth of the Lone Ranger Christian”, “The Myth of “Don’t Worry! Nothing Wierd Will Happen!””, “The Myth of Greener Grasses”, and “The Myth of Solid Water”. In these chapters, he talks about finding the voice of God everywhere and in everything.  Whether it’s the obvious things like the Bible or prophetic words, or the not-so-obvious things like nature, a coworker, or circumstances, one thing is for certain: God is always speaking. Overcoming Fear - Dawna De Silva Book Review

Image
Overcoming Fear is different than most books written on this topic. It is not just another “self-help” book written by an author claiming to have a simple three-step plan to solve everything. The difference is author Dawna De Silva, founder of Bethel Redding’s Sozo Ministry, writes from a place of years of experience. Sharing extensively from personal experience, De Silva tackles the subject of fear as both a root of many other issues and as a symptom of deeper rooted issues. Using the Sozo method, she attempts to help the reader uproot any lies they believe about self, others, or God and find lasting freedom. I highly recommend this book and author. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Chosen Books in exchange for an honest review. Dawna De Silva  is founder and co-leader of the International Bethel Sozo Ministry in Redding, California. Whether training in Sozo, preaching or ministering prophetically, Dawna releases people, churches and cities into new vision a...

Accessing The Riches Of Heaven - Patricia King Book Review

Image
In Accessing The Riches Of Heaven, Patricia King teaches that Heaven is not just a future destination for believers, but an ever-present reality that can be accessed at any time by any born again believer. In ten chapters, the author teaches on subjects like realms of abundance, worship, hindrances to accessing the riches of Heaven, and the role faith plays in all of this. The “riches” mentioned in the title and throughout the book is not specifically referring to financial prosperity. The riches of Heaven are far greater. According to Patricia, “The world’s economy is very fickle, and we should never put our trust in it...I do not not compare myself with the billionaires of the world because that is not how I gauge “rich””. I highly recommend this book.  I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.  Patricia King  is a respected apostolic leader, dynamic evangelist, successful business owner, and inventive ...
