Louie Giglio is the pastor of Passion City Church and the founder of the Passion Movement. This is the first book I have read by the author and probably won’t be the last. 

In this book, Giglio’s focus is strongholds. He refers to strongholds such as fear, rejection, anger, and addiction as giants. Whole chapters are dedicated to these giants and the many forms they can take. 

The book revolves around the story of David and Goliath. The author retells the story with Goliath metaphorically being our strongholds and David being Jesus. David killing Goliath is compared to the finished work of Jesus on the Cross, which is the only solution for any giant. I highly recommend this book.

       In Spiritual Intelligence, author and pastor Kris Vallotton explains the correlation between spiritual growth, the prophetic, cultural transformation, and neuroscience.
